Volunteer opportunities at the PGH Equality Center

The PGH Equality Center, requires all volunteers to complete the form (click the "Volunteer" link below).

If you are going to be doing any youth programming volunteering, you must submit the Criminal BackgroundPA Child Abuse, and FBI Fingerprinting (use code: 1KG6ZJ) clearances to volunteer. When you have your clearances done, please complete this Volunteer Form and upload your clearances to the form.

Board of Directors

The PGH Equality Center Board meets on the third Wednesday of each month. They guide the Center in its activites and is a wonderful opportunity to volunteer with the PEC. The Board is looking for people with gifts in IT, legal, health, finance/accounting, and fundraising. If you are interested in joining our Board please complete the Board Application with updated clearances.

Youth Programming

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Youth Nights are on hold. In place of the Youth Nights, the PGH Equality Center is offering a virtual teen (12-19) LGBTQIA+ book club in partnership with Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh. If you are an interested teen or parent of a teen, please email info@pghequalitycenter.org.
