October brings exciting times for the LGBTQIA+ Pittsburgh community!

The PGH Equality Center Get the Vote OUT Virtual Race is now open for registration! This year is important to get OUT and vote! Register for a 5K Run or Walk to get your ballot counted! Rainbow mask, headband, and VOTE shirt available!

Community House Presbyterian Church is hosting a game night on the 2nd Saturday and a movie night on the 4th Saturday of each month. Join them at 6:30pm for a time to gather with masks, physical distancing, and fun. The movie for October is Moonlight.

Join us for a Night of Coming Out Stories on October 11th from 7-9pm via Zoom. We will be hearing several stories in the format of Moth Storytelling.

ReelQ’s 35th annual film festival looks different this year in its digital format. Buy tickets to the various films and enjoy wonderful LGBTQIA+ cinema from October 8th to the 17th!

It’s LGBTQIA+ History Month here in the US! Watch our social media for a daily LGBTQIA+ history moment! We are also beginning a year long project to record Western PA’s LGBTQIA+ history. Help us by filling out our History Form.

The PGH Equality Center is calling a Town Hall of the LGBTQIA+ community organizations. Let’s build bridges together! Email info@pghequalitycenter.org if you are interested.

The PGH Equality Center is continually updating our resource list and community calendar. To help us do so, please fill out our Resource Form and Add Event Form for your organization.

We are looking for volunteers for our programming and our Board. If you are interested, please fill out the Volunteer or Board forms and send in your FBI FingerprintPA State Criminal, and Child Abuse Clearances.
