The Pennsylvania Youth Congress is PA’s first and only statewide LGBTQ youth organization. Founded in 2011, PYC is comprised of young LGBTQ Pennsylvanians advocating within local and state government for safer schools and communities for all. PVS offers monthly discussion and social connection meetings including LGBTQIA+ focused content and connections to free resources to learn more about veganism. 412 Food Rescue responds to the disconnect between the 40% of our food supply that goes to waste and the 1 in 8 people that are food insecure. Utilizing technology and civic engagement, we rescue perfectly good surplus food from businesses and redirect it to nonprofit organizations who serve people in poverty.
