PVS offers monthly discussion and social connection meetings including LGBTQIA+ focused content and connections to free resources to learn more about veganism. 412 Food Rescue responds to the disconnect between the 40% of our food supply that goes to waste and the 1 in 8 people that are food insecure. Utilizing technology and civic engagement, we rescue perfectly good surplus food from businesses and redirect it to nonprofit organizations who serve people in poverty.
We are a small cafe and catering business and earmark meals for those who are in need. Social services may contact us to ask to deliver a meal or meals to those who are experiencing illness, unemployment, or other transitional issues that are causing food insecurity.
We are a queer owned and operated cat cafe—all of our staff and volunteers are queer and we seek to be a safe space for the queer community.
