SafeZone provides training to faculty and staff to help them become better allies to the Point Park LGBTQ community.

We offer formal and informal Jewish education along with Hebrew both for prayers and modern language. By philosophy and those in our community, we span the spectrum of human expression. We are dedicated to teaching Jews a connection to our heritage.

Founded in 2000, CMU PRISM is an Carnegie Mellon Student Organization for those of all orientations and gender identities who support the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning, asexual/aromantic, and many other existing identities in our community. We discuss issues, raise awareness, and embrace individuality. Join us in being active, being social, and being ourselves!

CMQ+ (formerly Allies Grad) was founded in 2013 to serve the LGBTQIA+ graduate students at Carnegie Mellon University, but staff and/or allies are always welcome at our events. The + denotes allies, non-identifying, HIV+ (who have traditionally been not included) and other denominations – it is open to interpretation and is a firm nod to our inclusivity, while keeping the focus on the Qs at CMU.

oSTEM empowers LGBTQ+ people in STEM to succeed personally, academically, and professionally by cultivating environments and communities that nurture innovation, leadership, and advocacy. We are a professional development student-organization that is committed to growing the professional network and experience of our LGBTQ+ members.

The Center for Student Diversity and Inclusion offers resources to achieve an inclusive and transformative experience for all students. The Center supports and connects historically underrepresented students and those who are first in their family to attend college in a setting where students’ differences and talents are appreciated and reinforced. In the pursuit of equity, the Center also coordinates a network of faculty and staff interested in collectively advancing a more inclusive campus climate for all CMU students.

Compass Consulting & Training, LLC provides consultation, workshops, and trainings. Compass helps individuals, teams & agencies enhance tools for engaging people in the process of change. Compass is a member of the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) and consults with the Opioid Response Network among other institutes and universities.
