Safe Housing
Statistics
LGBTQIA+ youth are 2-3x more likely to experience homelessness compared to their straight counterparts.
Trans youth comprise more than half of LGBTQIA+ homeless youth.
21 states and D.C. have housing non discrimination laws that include the LGBTQIA+ community; Pennsylvania is not one of the 21 states.
Even with nondiscrimination laws in action, that does not stop discrimination and abuse from happening to the LGBTQIA+ community when it comes to housing.
Finding safe housing is an issue for the LGBTQIA+ community. We have created a place for people in our community to share where it is safe for housing.
Fill out our form if you are able to offer safe housing for rent or selling.
