AFFIRM is a CBT-based group support series for LGBTQIA2S+ Youth ages 14-21. AFFIRM runs for 6 virtual sessions on Thursdays in January and February of 2021 from 5pm-7pm EST. AFFIRM is a space to learn and practice skills for mindfulness, healthy coping behaviors, personal advocacy, self-celebration, and social network building. This program is facilitated by a Black, nonbinary adult. The dates for this series: January 14, 21, and 28th AND February 4, 11, and 18th You’ll receive a care package every other week that includes snacks, drinks, AFFIRM materials, fidgets, and art supplies.
