Pittsburgh Art Jam
May 8, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm
The PGH Art Jam
Bringing Artists and Community Together.
The Yingling Mansion, located on 1300 Wood St. in Wilkinsburg PA, hosts a variety of events. One, in particular, is the PGH Art Jam that has 22-32 Artists demonstrating their crafts including Stained Glass, Clay Sculpting, Wire Sculpting, Painting, Drawing, Garment Making, Body Painting, and Performance Art, to name a few. The event gives local Pittsburgh artists an opportunity to create and converse with one another and provides an outlet to have their work seen by an appreciative, public audience. It also brings the community together using original art production as the catalyst for a fun experience, as well as potluck food and beverages brought by the participating artists and House Hosts, Brian Sieffert and Nicole Santella. Along with the event, there is an ongoing exhibit throughout the house showcasing a variety of paintings and sculptures. The next one is June 13 from 7 – 11 PM, featuring 20 Artists. The Art Jam is child friendly also, with one of the participants being 12 years of age.
Some of the participating artists are included in the ongoing exhibit, in the house, that periodically changes and is exposed to a revolving audience due to the mansion’s Airbnb Services and other Events associated with the community and township organizers. We hope to assist the creative community by connecting the people through creative entertainment.
