Heritage Center celebrates diversity and the diversity of its communities!
Ever wondered what the letters stand for in LGBTQIA? Not sure what the difference between gender identity and sexual orientation is? Have you seen a pronoun next to someone’s name in an email and you’re not sure why? Do you have questions about how to support a friend or loved one who has recently come out?
This PEC-led program serves to answer those questions and more in a discussion that aims to educate and encourage all members of the community. Rather than focusing on particular issues or views, this event stresses the importance of collaboration, empathy, and building a community where everyone feels connected.
